What is a Gaming House?
The problem of communication between players and coaches in esports has always been present in all teams. This was one of the main reasons why they started living in the same house, the gaming house, where they would have everything they needed to train.
It was not long ago that the training was simple calls between the members of the team, which were not direct communication; they were not efficient. There were also language problems since not all had the same nationality, and the organizations were beginning to require a high level of English.
Trying to improve the performance of the team came to the idea of the gaming house, a house like any other where players could feel comfortable, and where they could train together in the same room. The daily interaction between team members triggered greater mutual trust, which was reflected in the results of training and matches.
On the other hand, tournaments and leagues began to be face-to-face, and what is certain is that it was not profitable for a team to pay a plane ticket to each member of the same, so the gaming house was located in places close to those events. Apart from English, an essential requirement to join a professional team is the availability to live in another country.
The training mode changed in such a way that the teams began to have relaxation exercises, strategy sessions, and match analysis. Currently, professional teams’ schedules take up practically the entire day; outside of training schedules, they tend to play to maintain their level. This is the main reason why they train so many hours, and although it may not seem like it, unlike other sports, the fitness of an esports player can increase and decrease much faster.
The player’s need for concentration is maximum in any of the esports, and being deconcentrated for an instant is enough for the opponent to win the game. And although this could happen to any player, thanks to the gaming house, they improve their performance in a few hours. The following are the best gaming house so far.
OMG
For some years now, there has been an unofficial competition between the most prominent electronic sports clubs for having the most bombastic center of operations for their players. Oh My God Esports Club is a veteran Chinese organization that has entered this fight as involuntary as it is forceful. Active since 2012 in the League of Legends, the OMG boys jumped to the present day last year more because of their eccentric gaming house than because of their sporting merits. And they just curled the curl thanks to their companion animals.
The futuristic design of the facilities attracted the attention of a television program that wanted to know from inside how the players of this team that participates in the LPL lived and trained. But beyond its appearance as a spaceship, what caught the attention of visitors was the immense aquarium that houses, attention, five sharks.
The Chinese team’s high-performance center has 2,000 square meters and everything necessary for players to be concentrated training. The ground floor is reserved for players from Overwatch and King Pro League (King of Glory), and the second is dedicated to League of Legends. And yes, they are one of the sports powers, in case you were wondering how they got these facilities.
For the design, the architects were based on the film Ender’s Game, although it could well be the setting for any of the games we mentioned a few lines ago. The design is spectacular and shows that in Asia, esports are a severe thing.

Team Heretics
After overcoming the barrier of one million subscribers in their YouTube account, Team Heretics has surprised everyone by showing us one of its main ‘secrets,’ its gaming house,
Team Heretics is one of the most successful sports clubs nationally and internationally. Highlighting its Call of Duty ensemble, which rubs elbows with the world elite of this Activision Blizzard shooter, thanks to its significant roles in appointments such as the Pro League.

Cloud 9
The North American team of Cloud9 wanted us to present the house in which they train and live during the whole competitive season. This house is located in Los Angeles (California).
Hand in hand with Meteos, we began the tour by stopping first in the kitchen, where the contents of the fridge full of juices and eggs stood out. The visit continues by taking us to Hai and Balls’ room, which, like the one he shares with Sneaky, is quite small. After this, he shows us the wardrobe, which says, “It’s Sneaky’s old room,” joking a little with his ad carry.
We go up to the upper floor of the house to find Lemonation’s room, not much bigger but a little more open, from where he takes us to the patio where they have a table and a barbecue.
He finishes the visit showing us the room where the computers are, the place where they spend “90% of the time every week”.
Team Queso
There is no doubt that mobile sports are becoming more and more critical and that in Spain we have one of the leading clubs in this field. Team Queso is the club created by Alvaro845, one of the most influential YouTubers Clash Royale currently and has templates in the game of Supercell but also in others such as Vanguard or Arena of Valor. Since its inception has become a world-class organization and now takes a step further to consolidate its position.
It has been almost a year since Team Queso was founded, eleven months to be precise, and recently they have announced this step forward that responds to “the need to group the players of the same team in the same space.” At the moment, several Clash Royale players are already working in the house.
According to Team Cheese itself in a press release released to the media this afternoon, it becomes the first team to have a Gaming House for organizations dedicated to competition in touch platform.
As the weeks go by, more members of the team will join, and Team Queso has also confirmed that the house will be available to the players of Vainglory, Arena of Valor, and Hearthstone to prepare significant events. As if that weren’t enough, this Gaming House will also mean a place from which to create content for the team’s fans.
100 Thieves
The rivalry between sports clubs for having the best gaming house is nothing new, but for teams from the same club to compete with each other to see, which has the most prominent house does attract attention. This is what happens in 100 Thieves, whose founder has just presented the spectacular mansion where the players of his Fortnite team will be concentrated.
Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has been charged with announcing that one of the team’s sponsors – Totino’s pizza brand – will pay for a huge house they have called Totino’s World Cup House. Located in the state of Georgia (United States), the team wants to give the best possible space to its players to compete at the highest level without having to worry about anything, as explained in the statement.
Nadeshot already taught at the beginning of the year another gaming house where the players of the League of Legends team lived and trained, also living with the official content creators of the club. Located in the Californian city of Los Angeles, the house has nothing to envy the Fortnite boys.
